The ethics committee is made of 3 to 5 independent people from the field of Law, Business and Education. The members of the committee are not employed by Ethicas® or Ethicas® Ambassadors. They are completely independent.
Your Ethicas® badge will become more valuable over time, so when it comes time to sell your business you can sell your badge as part of your business. The new owner will of course have to agree to the Code of Ethics.
The reviews will be check by an Ethicas® staff member contacting both the reviewer and business.

The review will be investigated by our staff. The investigator will contact the complainant and record the conversion, then contact the business and get their side of the story. The two phone recordings and any other supporting material will go to the ethics committee for a decision. The committee will make one of three decisions.

1.1 Welcome to the Ethicas Global Pty Ltd (“the Company”) Terms and Conditions (or “Conditions”). These Conditions describe the terms and conditions that govern your use of
our website www.ethicas.global (“Site”).
2. Eligibility to use the Site
2.1 The Company reserves the right to refuse reject, cancel, interrupt, remove or suspend the use of the Site to anyone at any time for any reason without liability.
3. Registration and Account
3.1 You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information during the registration process, allowing the Company to register you and to maintain the security of your account. You acknowledge and agree that you:
(i) will not provide any false data in your registration or communications with the Company;
(ii) will not create an account for a third party without written permission or authorisation from both the third party and the Company;
(iii) will continue to keep your contact information correct and current;
(iv) will not share your password, allow a third party to access your account or anything else that endangers the security of your account;
(v) will not transfer or assign your account to a third party without obtaining written permission from the Company.
3.2 By registering and agreeing to comply with the “Code of Ethics” of the Company, you acknowledge to have read, agreed and accepted the Company’s:

3.3 The Company reserves its right to suspend or terminate your registration if it believes you have violated any of the agreements referred to in clause 3.2.
4.1 All payments for the annual registration fee of AUD $326.70 per year (includes GST) are processed online at the time of registration through our associated merchant account provider, Pin Payments Australia (www.pin.net.au). Pin Payments is an Australian Company who is a PCI Level 1 Service Provider under the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).

4.2 The Company does not store any credit card information you provide us.
4.3 You understand and acknowledge that any payment transactions arising from your registration with the Company may be made in accordance with and under the specific terms and conditions of a third-party and you are encouraged to carefully read and understand such terms and conditions.
4.4 You acknowledge and agree that the total value of the payment transaction may include third-party costs (such as merchant and booking fees) which you are responsible to pay the Company or the third-party, as the case may be.
4.5 You acknowledge that you may cancel your annual registration at any time, however you will not be entitled to a refund of your annual registration fee in the event that you cancel your annual registration or renewal 7 days after such registration or renewal.
4.6 The Company reserves its right to suspend or terminate an account if the payment card information is expired or is otherwise invalid or if it believes that such payment transaction violates these Conditions or the Company’s Code of Ethics.
4.7 Notwithstanding clause 4.5, should the Company terminate your registration at any time for the reasons outlined in clauses 3.3 and 4.6, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any refund of your annual registration.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or damage, however caused, which may be directly or indirectly suffered or incurred, in connection with use of this Site, or the information or material contained on this Site.
5.2 While care has been taken to ensure that the information and material on this Site is accurate, complete and up to date, the Company makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, that the information and material on this Site is accurate, complete or up to date.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Company accepts no liability for disruptions to this Site, or if interference with or damage to your computer systems occurs in connection with use of this Site. You must take your own precautions to ensure that whatever you select for use from this Site is free of viruses or anything else that may interfere with or damage the operation of your computer systems.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its agents or any other affiliated companies, and their employees, contractors, officers, and directors from any and all claims, suits, damages, costs, lawsuits, fines, penalties, liabilities, expenses (including legal fees) that arise from your use or misuse of the Site, or violation of these Conditions or violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This document is governed by and is to be construed in accordance with the laws in force in Western Australia, and the parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Western Australia.
If a clause is void, illegal or unenforceable, it may be severed without affecting the enforceability of the other provisions in the Conditions.
(a) No right under the Conditions is waived or deemed to be waived except by notice in writing signed by the party waiving the right.
(b) A party does not waive its rights under the Conditions because it grants an extension or forbearance to the other party.
The Conditions shall be binding upon the heirs, executors, administrators and successors in title of the parties.
16. Changes to Terms
The Company may alter the Conditions at any time, so please review them frequently. If a material change is made, the Company may notify users of the Site by means of a notice on the Site, or other places the Company thinks appropriate. A "material change" will be determined at the Company’s sole discretion, in good faith, and using common sense and reasonable judgment.
